Static class for generating series data with various patterns.

GenerateLabels(LabelPreset, int, int, int, string[])

Generate labels based on preset.

Parameters

Name Type Description
preset MockMagic.LabelPreset The label preset to use.
count System.Int32 Number of labels to generate.
startIndex System.Int32 Starting index for cycling through label arrays (used for streaming). Can be negative for prepending.
startYear System.Int32 Starting year for year-based presets.
customLabels System.String[] Custom labels for Custom preset.

Generate(SeriesPattern, int, float, float, float, LabelPreset, int, string, string[])

Generates one labeled series whose values follow the selected shape inside the requested range, with optional random deviation.

Parameters

pattern MockMagic.SeriesPattern Shape used to distribute values across the series.
count System.Int32 Number of points to generate.
min System.Single Lower bound and pattern baseline.
max System.Single Upper bound and pattern peak.
noise System.Single Random deviation as a fraction of the min to max range.
labelPreset MockMagic.LabelPreset Built-in label sequence applied to the points.
seriesIndex System.Int32 Zero-based series identifier stored on every point.
seriesName System.String Optional display name stored on every point.
customLabels System.String[] Labels cycled when labelPreset is MockMagic.LabelPreset.Custom.

Returns

MockMagic.MockDataPoint[]: A new array containing the generated points in display order.

GenerateMultiSeries(SeriesPattern, int, int, float, float, float, LabelPreset, string[], string[])

Generates multiple independent series with the same pattern and label axis.

Parameters

seriesCount System.Int32 Number of series to generate.
pointCount System.Int32 Number of points in each series.
min System.Single Lower value bound and pattern baseline.
max System.Single Upper value bound and pattern peak.
noise System.Single Random deviation as a fraction of the min to max range.
labelPreset MockMagic.LabelPreset Built-in label sequence shared by the generated series.
seriesNames System.String[] Optional names matched by zero-based series index.
customLabels System.String[] Labels cycled when labelPreset is MockMagic.LabelPreset.Custom.

Returns

MockMagic.MockDataPoint[][]: A new outer array containing one point array per series.

GenerateValues(SeriesPattern, int, float, float, float)

Generates raw values for a pattern without labels or series metadata.

Parameters
